Wotspoll

Wotspoll is designed to provide simulated audience feedback without turning poll prompts into a retained training dataset. This policy explains what information is used to run a poll, how long it is kept, and which service providers may process it.

Information You Provide

When you use Wotspoll, you may provide poll questions, answer choices, story ideas, character descriptions, loglines, product ideas, or other written choices. We use that information to interpret your poll and generate simulated cohort results.

Poll Prompts And Answer Choices

Text-based poll prompts and answer choices are sent to the Wotspoll backend for analysis. When AI interpretation is enabled, this text may be sent to a model provider, such as OpenAI, so the app can understand what is being compared before the simulated cohort votes.

Session History And Local Browser Storage

Anonymous saved results are stored in your browser's session storage so you can review recent poll results while the session is open. This history is intended to clear when the browser session ends, and you can also clear it manually from the History tab.

Third-Party Processing

Wotspoll may use service providers to host the app, run backend functions, and process model requests. For example, Vercel may process hosting and service-generated data, and OpenAI may process poll prompts and answer choices when AI interpretation is enabled.

What We Do Not Do

Wotspoll does not sell your poll prompts, answer choices, or saved results. Wotspoll does not intentionally publish your poll content, add it to a public gallery, or use it to build a retained training dataset for the product.

Hosting, Logs, And Security

Like most web applications, Wotspoll's hosting provider may generate technical logs, such as request metadata, IP address, browser information, timestamps, and error information. We use reasonable safeguards and keep collection limited to what is needed to operate, debug, and improve the service.

Children

Wotspoll is intended for adult users and for simulations of US adult audiences. It is not intended for use by children.

Enterprise Or Private Deployments

Enterprise customers may request a private deployment with different retention, logging, authentication, or data-handling requirements. Those terms should be defined in a separate written agreement.

This policy should be reviewed before public launch and updated whenever Wotspoll adds analytics, authentication, payments, new model providers, or different retention settings. This page is informational and is not legal advice.
